Scion raises iQ again

Readying for its infiltration into the Canadian market, Scion is unveiling a micro-subcompact concept car that would be right in line with the types of vehicles Canadian audiences find attractive to real world realities.

Toyota is not committing to bringing the car to North America, which is why it’s showing a new concept version (modified by California’s Five Axis) to gauge public opinion. A similar concept was created two years ago to pave the way for the Toyota iQ currently marketed in Japan and Europe.

Standing just over 10 feet in length, the iQ is a hip micro-car that uses a 2+1 seating arrangement, leaving plenty of luggage space for those three occupants. The production iQ is a four seater powered by either diesel or gasoline engines. Befitting its intentions, the Scion iQ concept features a multimedia entertainment hub designed to keep occupants occupied and connected when the vehicle is not being driven.
