Loaded with comfort and convenience features, the new Lincoln MKX signals Ford's new vision for utility in the luxury segment.

MKX's elegant design is combined with a sporty stance, powerful engine, quiet interior and such technological advances as headlamps that move with the steering wheel, a panoramic glass roof, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, premium audio and a DVD-based navigation system.

The 5-passenger crossover utility vehicle (CUV) is powered by a fuel-efficient 3.5-litre V6 with class-leading 6-speed transmission and rides on a fully independent suspension.

MKX was originally billed as the new Aviator, but Ford decided to give it a fresh identity, preparing it to enter the market late in 2006.
