Rounding out its lineup of redesigned sedans, Lexus introduces the new ES350 for 2007. The latest ES features an available dual swivel Adaptive Front Lighting System headlamps and available all-glass roof, and of course Lexus' new design language, L-finesse.

Lexus says the ES350, like its IS250 and IS350 sedans, is an entry-level luxury car, but the ES focusses more on luxury as opposed to the IS' all-out sportiness.

"The needle was buried firmly at the performance end of the meter with the IS 250 and IS 350. For the ES, we've emphasized the balance between the luxury of L-finesse - the Lexus exclusive design language - and the handling and performance that all Lexus owners demand," said Stuart Payne, director for Lexus in Canada.

Under the hood sits a 3.5-litre V6 with variable valve timing with intelligence (VVT-i) that produces 272 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 254 lb-ft of torque at 4,700 rpm. It's mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with sequential shifter. The front-wheel drive ES350 sits on 17" tires fitted with 17" aluminum alloy wheels.

The top trim level includes an all-glass roof and there's an available 14-speaker audio system. The ES350 also gets Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), and an antilock braking system (ABS) featuring electronic brake force distribution.

The 2007 Lexus ES350 will go on sale in Canada in April of 2006.
