'smart' doesn't have to mean 'dull.'

Just look at the smart forfour BRABUS concept vehicle. It's the first smart vehicle to have a horsepower rating over 200 (210-horsepower to be exact) and has a top speed of over 235 km/h. It has a turbocharged engine and the transmission is fitted with a differential lock.

The car, which is more of a technology demonstrator (meaning the car itself won't be built), includes several features that will be used in future vehicles. In addition to changing the chassis and suspension to fit this smart's racing DNA, the vehicle is also fitted with 17-inch wheels, the entire underbody shield including rear diffuser is made of aluminum, a roll cage and racing seats with five point safety belts.

There is no rear seat bench or interior trim - as 'comfort is not of primary importance,' according to smart. The instrument cluster has different needles and dials compared to the production forfour and the instrument cluster has white back lighting.
