The BMW Coupe Concept Mille Miglia 2006 is a concept study that pays homage to the BMW 328 Mille Miglia Coupe. It will never see a racetrack but it's based on one of the most famous BMW racing vehicles in the company's history.

It is a two seater that includes 20-inch wheels that were specifically designed for it. Instead of doors, the Coupe Concept has permanently integrated sidewalls - to contribute to both weight reduction and torsional stiffness. How do you get inside? Simple - the entire cockpit lifts up to let the driver and passenger in.

The Coupe Concept is 23 centimetres length, 14 centimetres wider and four centimetres lower than the BMW Z4 M Coupe. It would house a six cylinder engine, similar to the one in the Z4 M coupe and has a specially tuned intake and exhaust system to give off a racing-worthy sound.
