Put the average young, hip driver in front of an electric vehicle and he or she may yawn andturn their nose up.

That may not be the case if you put them in front of the Nissan Mixim.

The Mixim is a stylish little car that is powered by Nissan's 'Super Motor' electric motor/generator and compact lithium-ion batteries. In fact, both the front and rear axle get their own motor, making the Mixim an all-wheel drive vehicle.

To someone looking for style, this technology will all be second to the look of the coupe, which features twin air intakes to the rear of the doors, LED driving lights, swept back windscreen, flowing roofline and a sharply truncated rear.

Inside, the driver sits centrally behind a video game-inspired steering wheel, with two seats to either side of him or her. An occasional fourth seat is also housed behind the front seat module.

The Mixim is lower and shorter than the Nissan Micra small car, weighing in at only 950 kg., while sitting on a 2530 mm wheelbase.
