After the extremely positive reaction that the Arnage Drophead Coupe concept received at the 2005 Los Angeles Auto Show, Bentley has announced it is putting a new four-seater convertible into production - and it features a name familiar to Bentley.

The new Azure will go on sale in the spring of 2006. Bentley says that demand for a new Azure appeared "virtually from the moment the original model ceased production." The original model was introduced in 1995.

This Bentley convertible was inspired by the 1955 Park Ward S1 Drophead Coupe and is the new flagship of the company's model range according to Bentley.

Specifications, market availability and pricing will be announced at a later date.
