Lincoln has renamed its Zephyr entry-level luxury sedan to coincide with its alphabetic naming scheme on new models. The new sedan will now be known as the MKZ.

The new MKZ gets several upgrades from the Zephyr, including a new 3.5-litre V6 engine, available all-wheel drive, 17-inch, 8-spoke aluminum wheels, available satellite radio and a redesigned front end.

The new V6 will produce 250-horsepower and 240 lbs.-ft. of torque while being mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Inside, passengers will find real wood highlights, leather, satin nickel and chromed trim and white electro-luminescent lighting around chrome-ringed gauges.
