Volvo is upping the sportiness with the 2007 S60 sedan.

Not only is the design refreshened, but the chassis has been fine-tuned for an even sportier ride.

An available front spoiler is more pronounced, and compliments the new optional rear spoiler on the S60 according to Volvo. Showing off the nameplate, the S60 also gets a larger grille and bigger, more pronounced Volvo emblem. Another exterior add-on includes side mirror indicator lights. Turn indicators now feature a soft touch feature, where the driver can gently press the turn signal stalk, resulting in the turn signal flashing three times to indicate a lane change.

A new Maple Red exterior colour is also new for 2007.

A Sport Package has been added and features aluminum highlights on the new three-spoke sports steering wheel, trunk lid spoiler, new gear shift knob and an instrument panel with the same type of watch-like instruments found in the new Volvo S80 and S60 R. The Volvo S60 can also be equipped with active bi-xenon Lights - moving headlights that follow the curve of the road. They can be turned up to 15 degrees in either direction in response to steering input and vehicle speed.

Last, the S60 features firmer shock absorbers and front and rear springs, resulting in an increase of torsional rigidity by about 25%.
