Porsche is going heavy on the metal with a special Cayenne.

The Porsche Cayenne S Titanium Edition was made especially for the North American market and includes several standard features that are available only as options on other Cayenne models.

The Cayenne S Titanium Edition features titanium metallic trim on the roof spoiler, the frame and lower portion of the side mirrors, the front air inlets, window frames including the B- and C-pillars, door handles, door-sill trim and the 'Cayenne S' logo. This trim is exclusive to this model.

Other standard exterior features include 19-inch wheels coated in a titanium metallic finish and chrome exhaust tips. This Cayenne will be available in four exterior colours, two of which are exclusive to this version - 'Pure Red' and 'Iceland Silver Metallic' are the new colours, while traditional black and Marine Blue Metallic will the other colour choices.

Customers can choose from one of two two-tone interior colour combinations - Black/Sand Beige and Black/Steel Grey. The instrument cluster dials have a metal-look finish, and the stainless-steel door-entry guards are embossed with the 'Cayenne S Titanium' logo.

Porsche included several of the most popular features in the North American market as standard equipment on the Cayenne S Titanium Edition. These include bi-xenon headlights with dynamically controlled cornering lights, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with DVD/GPS-based navigation, and an electric tilting/sliding glass moonroof.

This new version of the Cayenne is powered by the same 4.5-liter V-8 that can be found on the regular Cayenne S. It is mated to a standard six-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission.

The Titanium Edition Cayenne S will have a suggested starting price of $89,800 CDN.
