Hyundai Auto Canada has added a 5-passenger version of the all-new 2007 Santa Fe GLS that was previously only available in 7-passenger configuration.

The new 5-seat Santa Fe GLS contains all the standard features found in the 7-passenger version including all-wheel drive, antilock brakes, six airbags, leather seating, power sunroof and automatic climate control, among others. Only the rearmost seat and its air distribution ducts have been deleted. As with other five-passenger Santa Fes, the rear seat is replaced by a large underfloor storage compartment in the cargo area.

The 5-passenger version of the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS carries a manufacturer's suggested retail price of just $34,295.00 and is due in dealer showrooms in September 2006. It expands the 2007 Santa Fe product range from nine to 10 models, with MSRPs ranging from $25,995.00 to $35,995.00.
