General Motors of Canada today announced pricing for the 2007 Saturn Aura sedan. There will be two versions available and will cost $24,990 and $30,985.

The lower-priced XE model will include a 3.5L V-6 engine with variable valve timing (VVT) producing 224-horsepower and 220 lb.-ft. of torque mated with a four-speed automatic transmission as standard equipment.

The up-level XR model, meanwhile, will have a 3.6L DOHC V-6 engine with VVT, rated at 252-horsepower and 251 lb.-ft. of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Every Aura will come standard with four wheel disc brakes with ABS, head curtain side impact air bags, 17-inch wheels, front seat mounted air bags, power door locks, remote keyless entry, power windows, cruise control, electric rear view mirrors, OnStar and traction control. The XR model includes 18-inch 14-spoke polished faced alloy wheel and StabiliTrak as standard equipment.

The Aura goes on sale in Canada in September of 2006.
