The Pontiac Solstice GXP takes the already-popular roadster and adds a turbocharger for even more power. General Motors of Canada has now priced the vehicle, announcing it will have a base price of $34,910.

The GXP edition jacks up the power in the Solstice to 260-horsepower and 260 lbs.-ft. of torque, using a a sophisticated Ecotec 2.0-liter turbo direct-injection engine. Mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the Solstice GXP gets improved handling thanks to a torque-sensing limited-slip differential, StabiliTrak electronic stability control, performance-tuned suspension with coil-over Bilstein monotube shocks, four-wheel ABS disc brakes and traction control. It also has a near 50-50 weight distribution.

The GXP's exterior is outfitted with high-polished stainless steel dual exhaust outlets, and front and rear fascia extensions that add to its performance persona.
