The Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson edition already packs quite the visual punch. Now, it gets more punch under hood thanks to a new supercharged engine. The newest Harley F-150 will be available in the summer of 2007.

Due to huge customer demand, Ford has released the supercharged Harley-edition F-150 due in large part by huge customer demand. The truck follows in the footsteps of the performance F-150 that was shown at the 2007 SEMA show. It actually uses the same style twin-screw supercharger as the one in the Shelby GT-500.

The model will come only in 4x2 configuration and it will have all the same exterior and interior highlights that the regular Harley F-150 came with at the beginning of the 2007 model year, including blacked-out headlamps and a unique chrome billet grille. The exhaust note has been tuned slightly to give a more throaty growl.

The truck houses a 5.4-liter V-8 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. It delivers 450 horsepower and 500 pounds-feet of torque and comes available with a gauge pod with boost (PSI) and air-charge temperature (ACT) gauges monitors the system's performance.

Since Ford and Harley Davidson formed their alliance in 1999, 60,000 Harley-Davidson edition F-150s have been sold.
