Back in black, indeed.

Saab has announced that a new version of the 9-3 sedan will be unveiled at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show called the 'Turbo X.'

The new car is meant to evoke the appeal of the 'Black Turbo' Saab models such as the 99/900. Saab says the new car will 'deliver standard-setting levels of performance for the brand.'

Saab also says that the Turbo X will also have plenty of innovative new features in it.

The first turbocharged Saab model was shown 30 years ago in Frankfurt in 1977.
