The premium “four door coupe” has evolved into its own segment and Volkswagen is jumping on board with the world debut of the Passat CC.

The CC’s distinctive larger rear window, more pronounced beltline and swooping rear deck give it an aerodynamic and sleek profile. The front end appears lower and more aggressive and the rear is more rounded with a large set of taillights that integrate smoothly into the body panels.

The interior will offer seating for four instead of five and have unique steering wheels and door panels.

The final quarter of 2008 will mark the addition of the CC to the Passat lineup. The current Passat sedan will remain unchanged.
