Beemer came out swinging at the 2008 Geneva show, with European premieres of the 1-series cabrio, and the first looks on the world stage at the latest M3 (also cabriolet), but the muscle in their presentation came from the new X6 crossover.

Of course the X6 comes as no surprise to followers of the propeller roundel (nor, really, is it a world premiere – having already been shown in Detroit and Toronto)

The styling is more sleek than BMWs other utes, the X3 and X5, and with a choice of 3.0 litre or 4.4 litre turbo engines (creating 300 and 400 hp, respectively), the X6 should bring a mix of comfort (based on my brief sit down in one here), high-performance and luxury touches that (along with things like the Infiniti EX) I believe may redefine pricey, lux-crossovers.
