It’s summertime and the living is easy. That is until your wife reminds you this weekend is the garage sale and three large wooden tables need to be picked up from your parents. No sweat, I say to myself. I drive the Suzuki XL-7 and it has plenty of storage space.

In fact, the 2007 Suzuki XL-7 has 2,696 litres of space available with the second and third row seats folded flat. Flipping the third-row seats down is easy; simply pull latches located at the outer top edge and let them drop. To fold completely flat, remember to remove the headrests and store them on the side. Adjusting the second row down is equally straightforward.

For those times when your storage requirements are less than all-consuming, the second row also folds in a 60/40 configuration while the third row splits 50/50. Headrests are provided in a two/three/two arrangement front to back.

With total seating for up to seven, cupholders are available for all but one person. The second seat walk-in mechanism is a little cumbersome until you get used to it, but once mastered, makes getting in and out of the third row seating a snap. This feature has come in handy on more than one occasion over the course of several months.

With 4,000 km of family driving on the odometer, the 2007 Suzuki XL-7 has yet to break a sweat. In fact with the warm weather and a garage sale just around the corner, the sweat will more than likely to be mine.
