With a push of a button, the third-row seats can fold down flat to give you a huge cargo space, with a roll away privacy cover. The only quibble, because of their position, the third-row seat belts get in the way. Even then you have to reach really far into the cargo space to actually grab a hold of the privacy cover. Even though the MKT is a large vehicle, it seats only six. The driver and front passenger have ample room, while second-row passengers will enjoy the same comfort. The third row can be a little tight in the width for passengers, but actually getting back there will take some manoeuvring.
