GM of Canada today announced pricing for one of three new vehicles being released in 2007.

The bold new Sky roadster will have a base manufacturer's suggested retail price of $ 31,685.

The Sky comes equipped with a standard 2.4-litre DOHC 4-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Timing, which produces 177-horsepower and 166 lbs.-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional new 5-speed automatic.

The Sky offers a host of additional standard features including four-wheel discs brakes with ABS, air conditioning, power windows, locks and mirrors, remote keyless entry, dual-stage driver and passenger airbags with Passenger Sensing System, AM/FM/CD stereo with auxiliary input jack for use with portable audio players such as iPods, and a premium acoustic convertible top with glass rear window with defogger.

The new Saturn roadster goes on sale in Canada in the summer of 2006.
