The Gumball 3000 reunites famous names, music and exotic cars...and it will be stopping in Toronto!
After having invaded Time Square and the New York streets, the Gumball 3000 12th edition participants are hitting the road to head to Niagara Falls and Toronto where they will be spending the night, pursuing their 2-week trip to Los Angeles.
The Gumball 3000 is a rally reuniting Hollywood big shots, music and spectacular cars in a crossing of the north American continent from east to west. And their transportation modes are far from the ordinary. This year, the Gumball 3000 will bring together Lamborghini Aventadors, Ferrari 458, Nissan GTRs, Bugatti Veyrons and many other exotics. Exceptionally this year, the Gumball will also mark the first appearance of the Raffy Fighter, a unique, hand built car equipped with a 450hp Corvette engine.
The rally will be leaving downtown New York on May 25, heading towards Niagara Falls where it will be making a swift but noticeable passage before stopping in Toronto for the night. Festivities are scheduled to take place on Bloor street for the occasion.
The following day, the participants will be back on the road to attend the Indianapolis 500 week end’s events before continuing their trip to Kansas City, Santa Fe and Las Vegas to finally reach their destination in Los Angeles on May 31st.
Many famous names have signed up for the rally such as David Hasselhof, skateboard legend Tony Hawk, the very tattoed Dennis Rodman, DJ David Guetta, actress Daryl Hannah as well as rally driver Travis Pastrana.
